Conversion of Pool House into Bungalow

Conversion of existing pool house to 1 bedroom bungalow featuring an open plan living area with stunning views over the Lytchett Matravers countryside.

We assisted the client transforming this unused pool house into their new home, with a large open plan living, kitchen and dining space overlooking the sweeping countryside. The rear of the pool house, which was previously changing areas, showers and plant room becomes a master bedroom with large walk in wardrobe and ensuite, as well as a spacious utility, second wet room and small plant room.

The front of the property features large windows along the length of the open plan area which, along with rooflights, brings lots of natural light into the space.

The client wanted the bungalow to be as sympathetic to the surroundings as possible, and opted for a green zinc roof with brown timber style cladding to make it blend into the environment. The front and side terraces are zoned with natural coloured concrete and glass balustrading.
