The existing floor plan of this property included segregated rooms and wasted space between the garage and the house, where an unused lean-to took up space. The new scheme involves demolishing this structure and replacing it with a permanent utility and shower room, accessible from the garage and entrance hallway. Relocating these rooms to the wasted space on the property allows for a much larger kitchen to the rear. The rear of the house is remodelled to create a more open plan living area, with bifold doors onto the garden, while retaining the existing lounge as a separate snug.
