This house was transformed into a contemporary chalet bungalow from a previously traditional, small bungalow. A side extension adds a garage and utility, and internal remodelling creates a large open plan living area to the rear with wide sliding doors onto the garden. The addition of a first floor forms a galleried landing with large rooflight, from which you access 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, along with a master suite compromising of a bedroom, dressing room and an en suite. The master and second bedroom can access a recessed balcony overlooking the garden.

Externally, the client chose a contemporary white render and grey slate cladding, with anthracite grey window frames and grey slate roof to give this home a contemporary aesthetic.
