I've just returned from a summer break and was fortunate enough to spend some time in Sofia, Bulgaria. I stayed in the beautiful modern hotel pictured here in the centre of the city.
The hotel features a wonderful fully glazed facade, which is fantastic for uninterrupted views of the city and lots of natural light. When it's time to sleep the series of full height screens rotate ninety degrees to form a wall between the room and the window keeping out all unwanted light and noise. Simple, beautiful and effective. Who needs curtains? Sweet dreams.
