Tom led the architectural and consultant team to produce this post-16 facility at Nower Hill High School for the London Borough of Harrow.
The building is integrated and linked to the existing 1960's school building but orientated to create a separate identity. The facilities are housed over 3 storeys and include 8 classrooms, 2 IT suites, staff accommodation, lift, WC's and a 170m2 social / quiet study area. The building incorporates automated lighting and passive stack ventilation. The building is largely naturally lit due to easterly facing, fully glazed walls to the main rooms and circulation towers, these glazed walls also afford stunning views over the school grounds.
